Manchester United XI vs Man City: Antony dropped - Starting lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest

Anthony Martial has passed a late fitness test to start for Manchester United in today’s derby against Manchester City but Antony is on the bench.

A decision was made on the striker as he works his way back from several injuries earlier in the season, which was even more pressing after new signing Wout Weghorst was not registered in time for this game.

At the back, Erik ten Hag is again without Diogo Dalot. He was taken off against Charlton with a hamstring problem and Aaron Wan-Bissaka will deputise.

Lisandro Martinez is on the bench as Luke Shaw again partners Raphael Varane in defence.

Bruno Fernandes is available again after suspension and will line up alongside Christian Eriksen and the in-form Marcus Rashford.

Manchester United XI: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Shaw, Malacia; Casemiro, Fred; Eriksen, Fernandes, Rashford; Martial.

Subs: Heaton, Lindelof, Maguire, Martinez, Mainoo, McTominay, Elanga, Antony, Garnacho.
