Manchester United XI vs Fenerbahce: Starting lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest today

Manchester United will be without a number of key stars in the Europa League against Fenerbahce tonight, including suspended captain Bruno Fernandes.

Erik ten Hag has lifted at least some of the pressure seemingly constantly undermining his position, externally at least, by coming from behind to beat Brentford 2-1 on Saturday.

Now the Dutchman takes his side to Istanbul for a meeting with former United boss Jose Mourinho.

Fernandes picked up two yellow cards in the 3-3 draw at Porto last time out in the competition and serves a one-game ban.

Casemiro is only fit enough to make the bench after coming off towards the end of the Bees game, while Mason Mount and Jonny Evans have not travelled.

Manuel Ugarte comes into the side in midfield, while Kobbie Mainoo, Leny Yoro, Harry Maguire, Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw are not in the squad.

Man Utd XI (5-4-1): Onana; Mazraoui, Lindelof, De Ligt, Martinez, Dalot; Rashford, Eriksen, Ugarte, Garnacho; Zirkzee.

Subs: Bayindir, Heaton, Amass, Ogunneye, Casemiro, Diallo, Antony, Hojlund, Wheatley.

Injured: Mainoo, Yoro, Maguire, Malacia, Shaw, Mount, Evans

Suspended: Fernandes

Time and date: 8pm BST on Thursday, October 24, 2024

Venue: Sukru Saracoglu Stadium, Istanbul
