Michael Carrick has a decision to make about who starts up front for Manchester United against Bournemouth.
Man United’s big-money summer signing Benjamin Sesko is in a hot streak of form, but has done most of his damage as an impact substitute since Carrick took charge in January.
The Slovenian had struggled in his first few months at Old Trafford under Ruben Amorim, but has exploded into life with Carrick at the helm.
He broke into the side against Crystal Palace, repaying his manager’s faith with the decisive goal in a 2-1 win at Old Trafford.
The 22-year-old then started in the 2-1 defeat at Newcastle, but did not get on the scoresheet at St James’ Park, despite playing the full 90 minutes.
As a result, he was dropped back to the bench for the visit of Aston Villa, with Amad Diallo reinstalled on the right flank as Bryan Mbeumo led the line, and Matheus Cunha played off the left.
However, Sesko proved his worth once more off the bench, scoring the third goal in front of the Stretford End as United secured an important three points in their chase for the Champions League.

Injury-wise, they are still without Lisandro Martinez, Patrick Dorgu and Matthijs de Ligt, while Mason Mount returned to the matchday squad against the Villa over the weekend after his lay-off.
Carrick has been consistent with his selections of late, and you would expect him to make few changes - if any - as the Red Devils welcome Bournemouth.
Senne Lammens will continue in net, with Harry Maguire partnered by Leny Yoro in Martinez’s absence.
Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo’s midfield partnership has been a revelation, while Bruno Fernandes is the form player in the Premier League right now.
The only real question mark is whether Sesko starts, and who drops out of the side.
The most likely would be Amad, and that would see Mbeumo shift back out wide to accommodate the Slovenian through the middle.
Predicted Man Utd XI (4-2-3-1): Lammens; Dalot, Yoro, Maguire, Shaw; Casemiro, Mainoo; Mbeumo, Fernandes, Cunha; Sesko.
Injured: De Ligt, Dorgu, Martinez
Doubt: Mazraoui
