Jamie Jackson was at Old Trafford tonight. His report is here! Thanks for reading this one. Nighty night!
Erik ten Hag gives BT Sport his verdict. “It was OK. You hope to score in the first half hour. Seconds before half-time took a little bit long. We deserved that goal. We scored from a set play: perfect! We scored two more good goals from open play, so I am happy with that. Also the clean sheet, we gave nothing away. It was a focused win, I would say. It was great [for Ronaldo to score]. He created, the team creates for him, and we know he has the capabilities to finish. There will come more goals, I am confident of that. [Antony’s substitution] was more or less planned. We know what we have to do [in San Sebastian].”
