Manchester United have been urged to repeat their Robin van Persie transfer trick by snapping-up England captain Harry Kane this summer - but only on a two-year contract.
Having allowed Cristiano Ronaldo to leave Old Trafford mid-season, United want Kane as his successor with the market set to reopen soon. Kane has 15 months left to run on his current agreement with Tottenham and German heavyweights Bayern Munich are also thought to be keen on his signature.
Kane is the number one target, but United also hold an interest in Napoli sensation Victor Osimhen after his stunning campaign with the Italian champions elect. However, as things stand Kane is the best option on the radar for United - according to Dwight Yorke.

Yorke addressed the ongoing striker search in his Neue Online Casinos blog. He said: "Victor Osimhen does look like the real deal and Harry Kane is 29-years-old - soon to be 30 - but Robin van Persie was 29-years-old when he joined Manchester United from Arsenal and look what happened."
Weighing up the possible options, Yorke continued: "If Kane was over 30, then I'd probably say they should prioritise Osimhen, but at 29 Kane still has a couple of good years and he'll want that elusive Premier League title or major trophy.
"The problem is that it's never a two-year contract, it's always at least four years. In terms of these next two years, I'd sign Kane, but after that is when it becomes a problem."
United signed Van Persie from rivals Arsenal before the 2012/2013 campaign and his goals spearheaded them to what remains their last Premier League title win. Kane, meanwhile, netted for the 22nd time this season on Monday night when Tottenham drew with Everton.
