Manchester United will have to pay close to £43million (50 million euros) if they want to sign Axel Disasi, according to reports.
United are set for an exciting but expensive summer transfer window as they look to capitalise on Erik ten Hag's impressive first season in charge at Old Trafford and attempt to close the gap on Manchester City. A striker is the biggest priority with talks being held with Rasmus Hojlund while personal terms have been agreed with Mason Mount to add more quality to the midfield.
That's not all though as a new goalkeeper, full-back, defensive midfielder and centre-back are on the shopping list as well. Another new centre-back is especially needed as Harry Maguire and Eric Bailly have both been earmarked for sales while Victor Lindelof's future is also uncertain.
Monaco's Disasi has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester and, according to L'Equipe, via FrenchFootballWeekly, would be keen on the switch. It's reported that Disasi has received offers from several European clubs but is most 'interested' in playing for United.

It's added that a deal would have to be agreed between the two clubs with Monaco wanting 'nearly 50 million euros for Disasi. However, Fabrizio Romano added on Twitter that while Disasi has chosen United, he remains the club's 'Plan B' option behind Napoli's Kim Min-Jae, who remains the 'top centre-back target.'
Meanwhile, Tottenham have reportedly shown an interest in signing United captain Harry Maguire this summer.
The Telegraph says the interest is in no way linked to United's own hopes of signing Harry Kane, and that rather than being a potential swap-deal, it could in fact be crucial in keeping Kane at the North London club.
The report says it could be seen as a potential move to keep Kane, given the striker has previously recommended his England team-mate to the club and the pair share a close relationship from their time together with the national team.
