Manchester United told they won't be signing Leeds United star next month

When it comes to totting up Victor Orta's signings throughout his time at Leeds United, there are few better than Tyler Adams based on what we've seen of him so far.

Yes, one could argue former talisman Raphinha or Spaniard Rodrigo have been perhaps more crucial at points in recent memory but Adams hasn't just integrated himself naturally into life in the Premier League - he's absolutely owned it.

While the USMNT captain has been at the World Cup and showing off the skills that Whites fans have been praising him for all season long, rumours have started to swirl that major clubs are keeping an eye on him for the January transfer market.

Despite only joining Leeds in the summer in a £20 million move from RB Leipzig, many believe Adams could move onto bigger and better things past the Whites and head towards historic rivals Manchester United sooner rather than later.

However, transfer expert Graeme Bailey says that Leeds fans should not worry about the 23-year-old's future, despite links coming in from Italy on top of the Red Devils interest.

Adams is one of manager Jesse Marsch's first names on the teamsheet, and that's unlikely to change any time soon Bailey highlighted as he wrote for TEAMtalk.

"I know Leeds fans have been worried about the future of Tyler Adams and that he could be sold in January, but that’s most certainly not in the plans of the club’s hierarchy.

"Adams has become a key part of Jesse Marsch’s squad since arriving in the summer. And despite his outstanding showing at the World Cup finals, he won’t be going.

"The player is also very happy at Elland Road and from what I am told he is determined to prove himself in the Premier League with Leeds."

Adams has a deal at Elland Road until the summer of 2027 and after the performances he's put in so far this season, the Whites will have no reason to sell him to any club unless an outrageous lump of money is fronted for his services.
