Milan decide asking price for United 'target'

AC Milan value Rafael Leao at €100million amid mounting interest in the Portugal forward.

Leao, 23, has scored eight goals in 20 appearances for Milan this season and, also, netted twice for Portugal at the World Cup in Qatar, where he came on in all five of their matches. Milan signed Leao from Lille in 2019, but he's out of contract in 2024 and approaching the final 18 months of his agreement.

Manchester United are yet to register any concrete interest in Leao despite being heavily linked with him.

Van Persie working towards coaching badges

Manchester United hero Robin van Persie passed on vital tips about finishing to Alejandro Garnacho and Facundo Pellistri during his coaching session at the Carrington training ground.

Van Persie was spotted back in the area on Monday night when dining with United manager Erik ten Hag and the agent they both share. It emerged the former Netherlands striker had touched down in the UK as part of a drive to earn further coaching badges after hanging up his boots in 2019.

The 39-year-old is currently assistant manager at Feyenoord but, during his playing days, was a renowned forward winning two Golden Boots in the Premier League. One of those came at Old Trafford the season after he signed for United from rivals Arsenal with Van Persie going onto score 58 goals in 105 matches for the club.
