Manchester United will reportedly have to pay around £22million to make Marcel Sabitzer's loan move from Bayern Munich permanent.
Sabitzer arrived at Old Trafford in January, joining United on-loan for the remainder of the season. The Austrian was brought in swiftly as cover for Christian Eriksen, who suffered an ankle injury in an FA Cup tie against Reading just days before the transfer deadline.
The 29-year-old has impressed manager Erik ten Hag during a spell in which he has played 18 times across several midfield roles, registering three goals and an assist in the process.

Sabitzer suffered a season-ending knee injury in the build-up to United's 2-0 home win over Wolves earlier this month, with talks getting underway as to where the Austrian's future - both in rehabilitation and beyond the summer - lies.
Sky Germany are now reporting that a permanent move is on the cards, with parent club Bayern wanting around £22m for the out-of-favour midfielder. Thomas Tuchel's side already have Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka and Ryan Gravenberch in that position and have also secured the arrival of RB Leipzig's Konrad Laimer in the summer.
Sabitzer has hinted at a desire to remain at United, telling German outlet BILD in April that he has found his place in the Premier League.
"United made it clear that it was a project until the summer," the versatile midfielder said. "Then we'll see. Until then, I want to give everything here. It's a loan deal without an option. In the summer, the situation will be evaluated.
"But I can say that I found my place here. Now I know the Premier League and can say there's nothing better, more intense and tougher. Every game is a fight. It's the best league in the world. When you play once here you know it's incomparable.
"Of course my thoughts are on United, especially with the trust I get from Erik ten Hag - it's very positive. But I'm not the only one who decides."
