Manchester United may find themselves in an unlikely position to compete for Jude Bellingham in the summer if they keep progressing, according to Peter Schmeichel.
The transfer saga of 2023 is shaping up to be the future of yet another Borussia Dortmund star as it looks likely Bellingham will be on the move. The midfield prodigy has been sensational for club and country over the last year and is attracting interest from Europe's biggest clubs.
United are well aware of his talents after trying to snag him in 2020 before he chose Germany instead. But, given the club's struggles since then, it initially looked as though they wouldn't be able to compete for his signature.
