Manchester United will have to pay around £52million to secure the signing of Rasmus Hojlund, according to reports.
United are set for another exciting but expensive summer as they look to build on the progress Erik ten Hag has made in his first season in charge and a new striker is the top target. Only Aston Villa and Fulham scored fewer goals than United in the top 10 this past season and most of the burden to score was placed on the shoulders of Marcus Rashford.
Ten Hag wants to add extra firepower and did make Harry Kane his top target but United are now working under the assumption that Tottenham will be unwilling to sell their talisman, even though he is in the final year of his contract.

Hojlund has already earned comparisons to Erling Haaland and is rated as one of Europe's most exciting young strikers after a breakout season. He scored 15 goals in Italy this year and burst onto the scene with five goals in his first two international starts.
MEN Sport understands that Hojlund has been identified as an attainable target and that Ten Hag has held multiple video calls with the 20-year-old. Sources say the SEG International agency that represents the Dutchman are also trying to acquire Hojlund as a client.
According to Football Insider, it will cost United a fee of €60million (approximately £52million) to sign Hojlund. It's added that Atalanta are keen to make a quick profit on the £15million they paid for the striker a year ago.
Elsewhere, United are prepared to launch a bid for Real Madrid target Moussa Diaby. That's according to developing reports from Fichajes.
Speculation over the Bayer Leverkusen forward, 23, is gathering pace. Real have been linked with a move for Diaby after his nine goals and nine assists in the Bundesliga this season.
However, the article indicates they have competition for him as United consider the Frenchman a viable replacement for Anthony Martial.
