Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani visited Manchester United on Thursday as he bids to takeover the club.
It is understood that Sheikh Jassim's Qatar bid and Sir Jim Ratcliffe's INEOS proposal are the two lead contenders to takeover from the Glazers. Reports had suggested that United's officials were preparing presentations for the prospective bidders and it appears now that the first of these presentations has been delivered to the Middle East investors.
At this stage, it is not clear whether any other bidders are in the running to purchase United beyond the two frontrunners. But here is the latest on the takeover.

Sheikh Jassim visits Old Trafford
Manchester United officials have held meetings with the Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani bid to buy the club after they were shown round Old Trafford on Thursday.
Representatives of the bid were pictured outside Old Trafford and will also visit Carrington during a day of talks and meetings as the second stage of the takeover process begins. Shahzad Shahbaz, president of the Nine Two Foundation set up during the bid, was part of the delegation that held talks with United officials and banking figures overseeing the potential sale of the club.
Sheikh Jassim expected to make second bid
Sky Sports (via Sport Bible) reports that Sheikh Jassim is expected to make a second offer for United by the end of next week. It comes after representatives of the Qatari Sheikh visited the Premier League club on Thursday to hold takeover talks and tour the club's facilities.
After making an indicative offer for the club last month before a soft deadline, Sheikh Jassim is now expected to submit a second bid for United. Sky Sports News has been told by sources in New York that: "There should be no doubt at all that Sheikh Jassim wants to be the owner and custodian of the Old Trafford club."
Ratcliffe jets in
According to the Daily Telegraph, Sir Jim Ratcliffe will attempt to get the better of the Qatari bid for Manchester United by personally attending Old Trafford with his Ineos sporting team.
The two leading contenders to buy the club have taken differing approaches in the delegations they are sending to meetings with brokers and the club. They claim that Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani did not attend in person on Thursday, but has dispatched senior advisors, lawyers and Bank of America executives.
