Manchester United and England footballer Harry Maguire has married his long-term girlfriend Fern Hawkins. They tied the knot at Crewe Registry Office earlier today (May 12) after Harry, Manchester United's captain, left training.
The couple, who have two children, met while they were teenagers more than 10 years ago. The pair, both 29, kept their wedding secret from all but their closest family and friends, reports the Mirror.
It is reported they will take their marriage vows again at a romantic ceremony held at a chateau in France this summer. A small group of loved ones attended the ceremony this afternoon.
