Manchester United are reportedly set for another transfer battle with Arsenal during the summer window as the two sides compete for Southampton right-back Kyle Walker-Peters. United want two further recruits to strengthen their defence after signing Tyrell Malacia.
As things stand, Malacia is the only new signing confirmed by United as they continue to target Lisandro Martinez, Frenkie de Jong and free agent Christian Eriksen. But could the Old Trafford giants be about to swoop for one of the latter's former teammates at Tottenham?
Walker-Peters progressed through the ranks in north London and has developed even further during two seasons on the south coast. Southampton paid close to £12million for his services in 2020.

Reports from The Athletic suggest United and Arsenal - who both want Ajax defender Martinez and are mooted to be in pursuit of Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans as well - also have Walker-Peters firmly on their radar. His former club Tottenham hold a £30million buy-back option.
Elsewhere, reported United target Thomas Strakosha could be closing in on a move to Brentford this summer even after being linked with the Old Trafford side. As part of his rebuild, Erik ten Hag wants a new back-up goalkeeper to offset Dean Henderson joining Premier League newcomers Nottingham Forest on loan.
Daniel Bachmann from Watford had been considered as Ten Hag continues to search for the right man. Strakosha, 27, is a free agent after Lazio released him at the end of his contract.
Reports claimed United were frontrunners for his signature initially. However, as per transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the Bees have now moved into pole position. Albania goalkeeper Strakosha has won 19 caps for his country.
