Manchester United's Strong Performance Under Interim Coach

Newcastle United's Alexander Isak, left, celebrates after scoring their side's first goal of the game during the Premier League match between Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United, at the City Ground

Manchester United secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Leicester in the Premier League, extending their unbeaten streak to four games under interim coach Ruud van Nistelrooy. The win marks a positive trajectory for the team as they prepare to welcome incoming head coach Ruben Amorim, who officially starts his tenure on Monday after completing his notice period at Sporting Lisbon.

Van Nistelrooy, the former assistant to Erik ten Hag, has been instrumental in United's recent success, guiding the team to three wins and a draw during his temporary reign. Sunday's win propelled United closer to the Champions League qualifying places, now sitting just four points adrift.

Bruno Fernandes showcased his brilliance on his 250th appearance for the club, scoring a stunning curling shot from the edge of the area in the 17th minute. His second goal came in the 38th minute when Victor Kristiansen inadvertently deflected the ball into the net, doubling United's lead before halftime.

Substitute Alejandro Garnacho added to the spectacle with a remarkable goal in the 82nd minute, sealing United's victory with a powerful strike from outside the box.
