Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez has said Argentina's players will get tattoos if they win the World Cup.
Argentina defeated Croatia 3-0 in the semi-final of the World Cup in Qatar earlier this week and they're now set to take on France in the final of the tournament on Sunday afternoon, which means Martinez will go head-to-head with his club teammate Raphael Varane.
Varane and Martinez have become Erik ten Hag's first-choice centre-back pairing at Old Trafford this season, but the latter has not regularly started at the World Cup, as he's made just two starts against Mexico and the Netherlands.

In addition to those starts, Martinez has made three substitute appearances and he's been unused from the bench once.
It's likely Martinez will be named on the bench again for the final, but he's more than played his part to help Argentina to the final of the World Cup and he's revealed the players will get matching tattoos if they prevail against France in the final.
“At dinner, this came out that if everything went well we wanted to all get a tattoo to remember this historic moment. We made a promise. We haven’t decided what the tattoo is yet, a debate broke out there," Martinez told Argentine newspaper La Nacion.
“Some wanted that (World Cup trophy) and others wanted the date or something written in Arabic, there were various ideas .”
Martinez is only 24 years old and this is the first World Cup he's played at.
