Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo has been pictured with Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed.
Ronaldo is currently on holiday in Dubai after Ralf Rangnick gave United's players permission to enjoy a winter break.
FIFA created the one-off international break during the two-week gap in order for non-UEFA national sides to catch up on World Cup qualifiers which had to be postponed last year and this means Fred, Alex Telles and Edinson Cavani are with their nations.
Ronaldo and other United stars such as Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire, Diogo Dalot and Jesse Lingard are in Dubai, though.
Ronaldo was pictured with Dubai's ruler, Sheikh Mohammed, on Thursday ahead of speaking to a live audience event on Friday.
The 36-year-old was spotted on social media with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.
Sheikh Mohammed made headlines in the UK last year when the High Court in London ordered him to pay a British record sum of more than £554m to settle a case with his ex-wife. He was regularly seen at Royal Ascot before that case.
Sheikh Mohammed also owns more than 40,000 hectares of land across London, Scotland and Newmarket.
