Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo has been nominated for the 2021/22 PFA Player of the Year award.
Ronaldo finished the season as United's top goalscorer. The 37-year-old scored 24 goals across in 38 appearances across all competitions this term and only Mohamed Salah (23) and Son Heung-min (23) scored more than him in the Premier League.
Ronaldo scored 18 goals in the league and that haul includes two hat-tricks against Tottenham and Norwich. Ronaldo enjoyed an impressive first campaign back at United and he won the Premier League's Player of the Month in September and April.

The forward can add to those personal accolades this season by winning the 2021/22 PFA Player of the Year award.
Ronaldo has been nominated for the award, which is voted by fellow players, alongside Salah, Kane, Virgil van Dijk, Sadio Mane and Kevin De Bruyne. The latter won the award last season after Manchester City won the Premier League title.
The winner of the award will be announced when the awards evening takes place at 19:00 BST on Thursday 9 June.
The ceremony will be broadcast on the PFA’s social channels.
