Manchester United have revealed that they have received enough tickets back to reduce their attendance to 62,000 for next week's Carabao Cup tie with Burnley.
United announced on Thursday that the match, which was previously sold out, would need to be played in front of the reduced attendance due to a lack of ambulance staff available. North West Ambulance Service will be taking industrial action next week over their pay.
The Reds had appealed for supporters with tickets to come forward for a refund so as to meet the reduced capacity figure. United have now released the following statement to announce that they have seen enough fans take up the option of a refund.
