Mo Salah's brace and goals from Luis Diaz and Sadio Mane consigned United to another embarrassment, after which they received the wrath of pundits and fans.
Ralf Rangnick must now regroup his squad for their weekend game against Arsenal, which could still prove crucial in the battle for the top four. United take on the Gunners — who are in action against Chelsea tonight (Wednesday) — at 12.30pm on Saturday.
