Arsenal's transfer business has been swift and effective so far this summer, having made all of their signings so far before the start of the new Premier League season. Five new players joined the club this summer, with Mikel Arteta spending over £100million to bolster his options.
So far, that transfer strategy has worked perfectly, with the Spaniard having plenty of time to work with his new recruits before things were underway again. Two wins from the first two games ensured the Gunners were one of only two sides to keep a 100 percent winning record at such an early stage of the season.
There's plenty more twists and turns to come, but in a truly unique campaign ahead, Arteta will be hoping to continue such a run going forwards. He has also hinted at the possibility of new arrivals before the end of the window, saying: "We are really active as you can see with incomings and outgoings.

"Everything is still open, it’s a long window, a lot has happened, it’s incredible how much business the clubs have done across the Premier League and it shows how competitive it is and this season is not going to stop that."
While it seems everything has gone to plan for the Gunners in their transfer window so far, the same cannot be said of rivals Manchester United. The Red Devils continue to be linked with a host of players, however their ability to land them has been questioned up until this stage.
Given the uncertainty surrounding the future of Cristiano Ronaldo, the need for a striker is only increased, with reports from AS claiming Erik ten Hag's side have made a £110million bid for Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix. The report states that the initial offer has been turned down, but it remains to be seen if the club go back in with another.
It comes just months after reports claimed that Arsenal were interested in a move, with the Rojiblancos keen to move him on to recoup some of the transfer fee they paid to sign him. Should Arteta eye the chance to land the forward, he may have to act swiftly to beat Manchester United to the punch.
