In the 2019 January transfer window, Arsenal reportedly came close to signing Christopher Nkunku on a loan deal from Paris Saint-Germain.
However, the Gunners ended their pursuit of the French attacker and ended up completing the signing of Denis Suarez on a loan deal instead.
A few months later, Nkunku completed a permanent move from PSG to RB Leipzig for just over £11million - and ever since the France international has come on leaps and bounds.
