Manchester United and Nottingham Forest fans alike have been raving about James Garner's latest contribution.
The 20-year-old opened the scoring for Steve Cooper's side in their crucial away clash with promotion-chasing Blackburn Rovers.
It follows on from his standout performance during Forest's drubbing of Midland rivals Leicester City in the FA Cup, last weekend. Garner assisted in their 4-1 win and received a standing ovation after he was brought off.
Days later as the play-off chasers travelled to Ewood Park, along with a sold-out away end, inside 25 minutes, he was in the thick of things again.
He combined with fellow loanee Keinan Davis after he made a bursting run forward before slipping the Reds youngster through.
The Birkenhead-born midfielder showed the composure of a seasoned finisher faking on his left, shifting it onto his right - sitting down the sliding defender in the process - before slotting it past the despairing Thomas Kaminski in goal.
Fans were waxing lyrical after he found the net for just the second time this season.
Cooper praised Garner after the win over the Foxes but set the United midfielder a challenge ahead of their clash with Tony Mowbray's side.
He said: "He's in a good moment Jim [James Garner], he's doing well, we're really pleased with him.
"I don't think just been today, he's in a real good run of form and I don't mind saying that because you can see how hard he's working, he won't get carried away.
"He knows as much as everyone he needs to play well against Blackburn on Tuesday, that's when you can become a real proper player when you've been able to put in performance after performance and not much think too much about the past and get on with what's next.
"But yeah, pleased for Jim, as you said at the start of the question, it's difficult to pick anyone out really, there was so many individual performances."
