Manchester United have reportedly started to make progress on signing two dream summer targets as Michael Carrick looks to strengthen his attack and midfield.

While Ederson is set to arrive from Atalanta for around £35million as Casemiro's replacement, with a medical said to have taken place, Carrick wants to add another more versatile profile to his squad.
