Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has told captain Harry Maguire that he needs to leave Old Trafford if he wishes to gain the minutes he wants.
Maguire has made just 19 appearances for the Reds this season, with several of those coming off the bench. This is in stark contrast to recent campaigns where he has been ever-present in the back line for United.
Despite his lack of minutes, Gareth Southgate did trust Maguire to be a starter for England at the Qatar World Cup. The Englishman's positive displays this winter could not earn him a place in the United first team upon his return and MEN Sport understands that the Reds are open to selling the centre-back at the end of the season.
