Manchester United are thought to have held talks over Borussia Dortmund winger Marco Reus. The 33-year-old is out of contract in the summer and is reportedly assessing his options away from Germany.
Dortmund are yet to negotiate a renewal with the superstar and so could look to sell him this month in order to recoup a fee rather than let him leave for free over the summer.
The club captain is currently out with an ankle problem in what is his third setback of the season. He’s scored three goals and assisted four - with one coming against Manchester City in the Champions League - in 12 outings this term.

His agent was spotted at Old Trafford watching United’s derby day win over their rivals this month and Erik ten Hag has not ruled out signing more players before the window shuts. Speaking this week, he said: "I think this club always has to have the approach that every day you have to get better so if there are opportunities to get better then you have to strike.
“That’s my approach so I’m looking around, to research. But I have an idea with which profiles we could strengthen the squad." Now, 90min claim United have held talks with Dortmund over Reus, while Al-Nassr have also shown an interest.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail say PSV boss Ruud van Nistelrooy is interested in loaning Anthony Elanga, who had reportedly been of interest to Dortmund. The Swede has struggled for game time this season.
He’s played 19 times overall but has started just seven of those, having begun just two Premier League games in nearly five months. Everton were interested in the winger, although their stance is now unknown amid Frank Lampard’s exit.
Speaking ahead of PSV’s 2-0 win over Go Ahead Eagles - Ten Hag’s former club - Van Nistelrooy said: “Of course I can't name names, but we are working hard on it because it is necessary.”
