Edinburgh is set to host an English Premier League giant in the summer, as Manchester United FC head to the capital to kick off their pre-season preparations.
Erik ten Hag's men are set to play a pre-season friendly at the BT Murrayfield stadium in July, a venue they have never previously visited or played in.
The Red Devils will face French Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyonnais (OL) on Wednesday, July 19 in Edinburgh, as part of a five-match tour for the new Premier League season.

This will be the first time Manchester United will have played in Scotland for over a decade, since they beat Rangers in a UEFA Champions League group stage fixture in 2010.
Scott McTominay will return to his national home with his club, as the English club has a historically strong connection with Scottish football - with Sir Alex Ferguson being the stand-out main man for both Scotland and Manchester United.
Olympique Lyonnais will play in Scotland for the first time since 2021, when they also defeated Rangers FC, this time in a UEFA Europa League fixture.

Scottish Rugby Chief Executive Mark Dodson said: "We are delighted to be able to welcome Manchester United and Olympique Lyonnais to BT Murrayfield this summer.
"We have four concerts dates in May for Beyoncé, Harry Styles and Bruce Springsteen so being able to add Manchester United into this stellar mix this summer is fantastic.
"Being the largest stadium in Scotland, it is great to be able to continue to bring exciting sporting and music events to Edinburgh."
Tickets for the match will go on sale on Thursday, May 18, with exclusive presale tickets available from May 17.
Ticket prices start at £30 for Adults and £15 for Under-16s. Tickets can be purchased via Ticketmaster or via Ticketek.
