Luke Shaw and Jadon Sancho have been included in the Manchester United matchday squad for this afternoon's Premier League opener against Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford.
The duo were pictured arriving at the Theatre of Dreams roughly three hours before kick-off with other squad members.
Confirmation of Shaw and Sancho being available for this afternoon's tussle with Graham Potter's side is a huge boost for both Ten Hag and United. The duo missed last Saturday's slender 1-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid in their penultimate pre-season friendly in Oslo through illness.

However, given that Ten Hag did not comment on either of them when delivering a team news update in his pre-match press conference on Friday lunchtime, they were always expected to be involved. Shaw, who is poised to battle it out with summer signing Tyrell Malacia in pursuit of the left-back berth, enjoyed a relatively encouraging pre-season campaign, featuring in three of United's six friendlies.
Sancho, on the other hand, was United's most eye-catching performer in pre-season, producing a collection of encouraging performances in attack. He also chipped in with three goals, scoring against Liverpool, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa.
He is expected to start in attack this afternoon, but it remains to be seen if Ten Hag will deploy him on the right or on the left, given how versatile he was during the tour of Thailand and Australia. Meanwhile, other pictures taken of the players arriving at Old Trafford have confirmed that both Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Alejandro Garnacho are in the squad.
Wan-Bissaka, who is free to leave Old Trafford this summer, played three times in pre-season, but did not earn a single start. Garnacho, meanwhile, played just once, starting last Sunday's 1-1 draw with Rayo Vallecano.
