Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea 'offered' to La Liga clubs and more transfer rumours

Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea is reportedly 'being offered' to Spanish clubs as he enters the final few months of his contract at Old Trafford.

As reported by Estadio Deportivo, intermediaries are offering the Spanish shot-stopper to the 'leading and richest' clubs in La Liga ahead of next summer's transfer window. De Gea, who is out of contract at the end of the current season, signed for United in 2011 from Atletico Madrid.

Reds manager Erik ten Hag recently admitted that the club are yet to make a decision on the 31-year-old, with reports suggesting that United are looking to recruit a new goalkeeper next year.

De Gea has made 501 appearances for United since arriving at Old Trafford more than 10 years ago, with the shot-stopper registering 171 clean sheets.

Elsewhere, Voetbal Primeur have reported that the Reds have made contact with Ajax about the possibility of making Edwin van der Sar a club executive.

United have been linked with a move for their former goalkeeper in recent months, but the 51-year-old signed a new contract with Ajax until 2025 in the summer.

The report also claims that Reds manager Ten Hag personally reached out to Van der Sar in an effort to convince him to return to Old Trafford, with the pair having built a strong bond during their time together in Amsterdam.

Van der Sar has been part of the Ajax hierarchy since 2012, with the Dutchman - who made over 250 appearances for the Reds - being named CEO six years ago.
