Manchester United's David de Gea now has the joint most clean sheets in the Premier League this season. De Gea kept a clean sheet in United's 2-0 win against Everton on Saturday afternoon, which means he's now level with Newcastle's Nick Pope in the Golden Glove charts, as both goalkeepers have recorded 13 clean sheets each.
Newcastle have the best defensive record in the league this season and Eddie Howe's side have conceded 16 fewer goals than United, but De Gea has found himself level on clean sheets with Pope at the business end of the campaign.
United's defensive record this term has been spoiled by heavy defeats away from home. The Reds suffered a 6-3 defeat against Manchester City at the Etihad in October and a shock 7-0 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield last month.

Ten Hag has admitted his side's record on the road must improve, although results at Old Trafford have been excellent and De Gea, speaking after the comfortable 2-0 win against Everton, admitted he'd hardly been involved.

De Gea is looking to win his second Golden Glove award this season after winning the prize in 2017/18 with 18 clean sheets.
