Anthony Martial could return for Manchester United against Newcastle on Sunday but has been ruled out of their Europa League return tie with Omonia Nicosia.
Martial has missed seven of United's 11 matches this season due to Achilles, hamstring and back injuries and was forced off at Everton on Sunday.
The 26-year-old made his first Premier League start since October 2 2021 at Goodison Park, having scored three goals in the previous two games as a substitute against Omonia and Manchester City, but lasted only 29 minutes.

Martial did not train with United on the eve of the game with Omonia at Old Trafford but that could be the only game he misses.
"Not today. We will see how he develops to Sunday," Ten Hag said of Martial. "I've had several talks about that with him, really disappointed for him.
"From the quality, all the minutes he played, he played well, even Sunday with the assist for Antony, the pressing was good, he was an important factor and played well. But obviously, he fell out and it's disappointing for him and disappointing for the team as well.
"Of course, I want every player to be available, sometimes it's disappointing when they're not available, especially with all the games coming up and when they're not available you have to deal with the situation and I focus on the players available."
Harry Maguire is still out with a thigh strain while Donny van de Beek and Aaron Wan-Bissaka remain unavailable.
