Victor Lindelof reported with the rest of the Manchester United squad at their Carrington training complex this morning.
Lindelof missed the midweek win over Nottingham Forest through illness but is in contention to return for their lunchtime fixture at Wolves on New Year's Eve.
United manager Erik ten Hag was forced to play Raphael Varane after one training session and left-back Luke Shaw at centre-back against Forest on Tuesday.

Harry Maguire had also only trained once with his teammates after returning from the World Cup due to a virus he contracted in Qatar but offered to make himself available and started on the bench.
United players arrived at their training base late on Friday morning ahead of travelling to Wolverhampton this evening.
Wolves have two wins in two games under new coach Julen Lopetegui, who oversaw a stirring comeback at Everton on Boxing Day when Rayan Ait-Nouri scored a stoppage-time winner.
Lopetegui was Sevilla coach when they defeated United in the Europa League semi-finals in 2020 and he has also managed Real Madrid and Spain. Ten Hag said after United's win over Forest on Wednesday he had already studied Wolves's performance at Goodison Park.
"I just finished this game and I have had a look at their base formation, I had a short look at yesterday's performance against Everton, I got notice from it," Ten Hag explained. "But to be in detail, think about a game plan, no, I'm not that far."
Diogo Dalot is expected to be unavailable again for United at Wolves. The right-back is recovering from a hamstring injury he sustained in Portugal's World Cup quarter-final defeat to Morocco three weeks ago.
