Mason Mount has become the latest big-name player to be linked with Manchester United amid reports that the Reds will launch a £55million bid for the midfielder.
Mount's future at Chelsea has been in doubt for some time, with the 24-year-old entering the final 12 months of his contract this summer. A number of Premier League clubs have reportedly been monitoring developments at Stamford Bridge.
Erik ten Hag is eyeing midfield reinforcements, with last summer's pursuit of Frenkie de Jong an indicator of the profile and quality of player wanted at Old Trafford. The Daily Mail reported on Wednesday morning that talks with Chelsea have commenced, with the Reds reportedly willing to pay around £55m for Mount.
