Manchester United supporters are split on Ralf Rangnick's decision to start Juan Mata against Brentford.
United will be aiming to give their fans a happy ending to what has been another difficult season when they face Brentford in their final match of the campaign at Old Trafford. Ralf Rangnick's side remains in dreadful form, however, having won just one of their last six matches, though they did manage to hold Chelsea to a draw last week.
Though neither team has much to play for in Monday night's match, it could still hold significance for United as it will be several players' last game at Old Trafford. Nemanja Matic, who starts in midfield, has already announced that he will leave the club in the summer while substitutes Jesse Lingard and the returning Edinson Cavani are both expected to follow him when their contracts expire.

Mata is another player whose deal comes to an end following the conclusion of the season and he has been handed a great chance to sign off in style by being named in the starting XI. The Spaniard has looked bright in recent cameos off the bench and has been rewarded with his first Premier League start of the season.
Plenty of fans are delighted that they will get the chance to see Mata work his magic one last time at the Theatre of Dreams and hope that he will get the send-off he deserves from the crowd. However, others have complained that the 34-year-old is, fittingly, once again playing out of his natural position of centre-attacking midfield while some have even complained that he's started at all.
Man United starting XI vs Brentford: De Gea; Dalot, Lindelof, Varane, Telles; McTominay, Matic; Mata, Fernandes, Elanga; Ronaldo
Substitutes: Henderson, Bailly, Jones, Fernandez, Fred, Lingard, Cavani, Garnacho, Rashford.
