Marcus Rashford continued his rich vein of form by netting his eighth goal of 2023 in Saturday's 2-1 home win against Crystal Palace.
The 25-year-old scored Manchester United's second goal of the game on 62 minutes, tapping home a Luke Shaw cross from close range after a brilliant and patient move. The finish looked to have all but ended the contest following an early Bruno Fernandes penalty, but Casemiro's red card and a goal from Jeffrey Schlupp made for a nervy ending for the home side.
Despite pressure from Patrick Vieira's side, the Reds held on to ensure Rashford once again made the difference, his first goal of February adding to the seven in January that earned him both the Premier League and Manchester United Player of the Month awards.

It also meant that the forward now had as many goals since the turn of the year as both Chelsea and Liverpool combined. The two Premier League giants have endured a dismal start to the year with just two wins between them in all competitions. This weekend saw both blank once again, with the London club drawing 0-0 against Fulham while Jurgen Klopp's side were humiliated 3-0 by Wolves.
