Erik ten Hag is set to be appointed the next permanent manager of Manchester United. Fans will still be awaiting an official confirmation from the club, but it seems likely that the Dutchman will be in the dugout at Old Trafford at the start of next season.
But with the manager decided, fans have begun to discuss what comes next. Some have jumped to what players United are going to sign in the upcoming window, with several positions in question. Others have reigned themselves in on that front, and begun to discuss the backroom staff under Ten Hag.
United this season have looked under-coached and without ideas on the pitch, under both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick. Fans will be happy that Ten Hag is uncompromising and has a clearly defined style of play, but he needs to be able to get that message across to the players.
