Manchester United fans are eager to see Jude Bellingham make Old Trafford his new home this summer, although some are concerned how much the takeover process will impact a pursuit.
Liverpool have withdrawn from the race for the Borussia Dortmund star due to his £100m-plus price tag with Jurgen Klopp eyeing a wide-scale rebuild.
United would love to secure the 19-year-old’s signature. The Manchester Evening News reported in December that the Reds were open to facilitating a summer move for Bellingham.

The England star thrived at the World Cup, scoring the country’s opening goal of the tournament, and has been given the vice-captain responsibility at Dortmund. It is expected that the Birmingham City academy graduate will leave Germany at the end of this season, potentially for the Premier League.
Most if not all of Europe’s big clubs are reportedly circling the teenager including Manchester City and Real Madrid. United have made Harry Kane their number one summer target amid the need for a prolific goalscorer.
Erik ten Hag also wants to bolster his midfield options too, but his budget for the summer remains unclear amid the takeover process.
The Glazers initially earmarked the upcoming window as the period for the next big recruitment drive, but there is the possibility they may have exited the club by the end of the season.
Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani and Sir Jim Ratcliffe, among others, have submitted bids to buy United. The process is ongoing.
United fans are keen to see their club make a punt for Bellingham, although some are not overly confident that a pursuit can end in success given the ambiguity of the future ownership. Meanwhile, others believe the asking price for Bellingham will be too high when other areas of the squad need improving.
