It has been a decade since Sergio Aguero scored his famous winner against Queens Park Rangers to deliver Manchester City their first Premier League title. Manchester United were seven points ahead in the title race but completely fell apart in the final few games and they ultimately lost the title on goal distance.
Since then a lot has changed. City has gone on to win many more Premier League titles while United's last one came in 2012/13 and the club has not come close again since, with their last trophy of any kind coming five years ago.
However on the 10 year anniversary of the event, while United's noisy neighbours celebrated the moment that started their now decade-long dynasty, even unveiling a statue of Aguero outside the Etihad, Wayne Rooney took the opportunity to question how the situation came to pass.

Rooney questioned how QPR seemed to give the ball back to City after Edin Dzeko had scored the team's equaliser. The English striker scored the winner for United against Sunderland, so you can understand his annoyance that what he believed to be the title-winning goal was wiped away by what happened at the Etihad.
Rooney told the Sun: "Paddy Kenny should have done better for a couple of the goals. City get the second goal and QPR kick it straight back to them and that's never been questioned - I find that strange.
"Djibril Cisse celebrating after the game with the City players, but yes, listen, it's a historic moment in the Premier League so I'm sure that, if you are not involved as a Manchester United player, that's probably one of the greatest moments in the league."
Rival fans were quick to crack jokes at Rooney's expense and also criticise potentially lucky calls that his team had received in the past. However, United fans were quick to come to the Derby manager's defence, with others on social media even agreeing with him:
