Manchester United fans agree with Kylian Mbappe's thoughts on Jadon Sancho

Manchester United supporters have agreed with Kylian Mbappe's thoughts on Jadon Sancho after 'hijacking' his classy reply to the England forward on Instagram.

Sancho, 22, missed a large portion of this season to attend to his physical and mental well-being. Recharged and back in form, he enjoyed a late cameo for United during their Carabao Cup win over Newcastle at Wembley on Sunday afternoon as the club finally ended their trophy hoodoo.

Not since 2017 had United picked up any silverware. However, with further honours potentially on the horizon, Sancho and his teammates are still dreaming about what would be an unprecedented Quadruple.

For now, though, they are content with winning their first trophy in nearly six years and Sancho will really savour the moment following his early-season struggles. Paris Saint-Germain star Mbappe reached out to the United forward post-match and his comment on Instagram has been ambushed by supporters.

Of course, there were one or two urging the France striker to join Sancho and Marcus Rashford at Old Trafford next season - although such a move seems almost impossible - but countless more simply agreed with Mbappe's message.

Responding to a post uploaded by Sancho, he wrote: "Good to see you with the smile." Mbappe added a prayer hands emoji to his comment, which has since drawn in more than 1,300 replies itself.

Here is a selection of those follow-up messages;

@vy_canism said: "Only up from here bro. First of many."

@sanchipanza_7 posted: "Seeing him happy again gives me years of life."

@simp4bandzii added: "So happy for you Sancho."

@ashmed.nasiirr said: "You are a different breed. You bring magic to this team."

@damnaldo_ posted: "Only wins on this new Instagram account."

@gon_it06 added: "Thank you for coming back to make fans happy."
