Alex Telles secured his team’s first clean sheet of the season in Sevilla’s goalless draw with Copenhagen in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The left-back is spending the season in southern Spain as he pushes for a place in Tite’s Brazil World Cup. The 29-year-old had a rough start to life at his new club, with Sevilla failing to win any of their first four La Liga matches.
This changed thanks to a 3-2 triumph over Espanyol at the weekend when Telles featured for a fifth time. His sixth appearance ended in disappointment as the visitors could not unlock Copenhagen but Telles recorded his first shutout throughout a while 90 minutes.
