Manchester United have been fined £55,000 by the Football Association following a mass confrontation during their Premier League victory over Crystal Palace at Old Trafford earlier this month.
United won the Premier League meeting with goals from Bruno Fernandes (pen) and Marcus Rashford - but there was a notable flashpoint on 67 minutes which resulted in Casemiro being sent off for throttling Will Hughes in amongst the scuffle. It came after an initial incident between Antony and Palace star Jeffrey Schlupp.
Both players were cautioned by on-field referee Andre Marriner as he subsequently was asked to check VAR before showing a red card to Casemiro. He went on to miss three matches.

Casemiro and United were punished with his absence after the Brazilian midfielder grabbed Hughes around the neck with both hands. United have now been slapped with a £55,000 fine and Palace are required to pay an identical amount.
It came after several players from both clubs gathered in a scuffle on the touchline, with Casemiro the only player dismissed over the incident. Even before the FA passed today's ultimate judgement it had already come at a price for United as Casemiro was made to sit out games against Leeds United (twice) and Leicester City.
An FA statement read: "Manchester United and Crystal Palace respectively accepted and denied that they had failed to ensure players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and refrained from provocative behaviour."
It added: "An independent regulatory commission subsequently found the charge against Crystal Palace proven and imposed both of the clubs' fines."
