Manchester United have confirmed all of the club's players in action this weekend will wear black armbands and a minute’s silence will be held before respective fixtures ahead of the 65th anniversary of the Munich air disaster on Monday, February 6.
Erik ten Hag and Marc Skinner, who is in charge of the women's team, will lead United’s tributes at league fixtures at Old Trafford and Leigh Sports Village this weekend by laying commemorative wreaths on behalf of the club ahead of kick-off.
The club have also announced that at Old Trafford on Saturday, the families of those we lost as well as those affected will be guests at the game, the flags will fly at half-mast as a gesture of respect, a rendition of The Flowers of Manchester will play as the teams walk out and a giant surfer banner will be unfurled in the Stretford End showing the words, ‘We’ll never die’.

Regarding the annual fan-led memorial service at Old Trafford to remember those who lost their lives in the disaster, the memorial service underneath the Munich Memorial Plaque will begin at 14:40 GMT and will consist of poems and songs.
There will be a one-minute silence at 15:04 GMT, which marks the time of the plane crash, and the service will be led by fan group Munich58 and the charity Manchester Munich Memorial Foundation (MMMF).
Fans who wish to pay their respects but can’t be at Old Trafford can watch the service live on MUTV or ManUtd.com.
