Here are your Manchester United evening headlines.

Old Trafford development

Manchester United have confirmed they will replace executive seating in the Stretford End with general admission season tickets.

The club announced on Monday morning that general admission season tickets will be sold in the Stretford End, instead of executive seating, from the conclusion of the 2023/24 season, which means the changes will be made for the 2024/25 campaign.

The decision to replace the executive area was reached following constructive consultation with the club’s fans’ advisory board.

A statement from the club read: "The Stretford End has, for decades, been the matchday home of some of Manchester United’s most passionate supporters, while also being synonymous with many of the most iconic goals in the history of Old Trafford.

"Following requests from fans, the club worked with its Fans’ Advisory Board to review the presence of executive seating within the Stretford End, in support of successful ongoing efforts to enhance the Old Trafford atmosphere.

Charlie Savage decision

Manchester United are expecting to send Charlie Savage out on loan before the January transfer window closes.

The 19-year-old has made one senior appearance during his playing career and is keen to carry on his development with a loan spell in the second half of the season.

The Manchester Evening News understands all parties are in agreement that a loan move would be beneficial to Savage's progress and that talks are ongoing to try and find him a new temporary club.

Savage has been attracting Football League interest, and it is understood that United would like to send him out to a League One club if possible.

The teenager, son of Robbie, made his only first-team appearance for United as a late substitute in the Champions League dead rubber against Young Boys in December 2021.
