Manchester United have confirmed Martin Dubravka will wear the number 31 during his loan stint at the club.
United have been searching for a number two since loaning Dean Henderson to Nottingham Forest at the start of the transfer window. The Reds have given Newcastle £2m for the 33-year-old's services and they will have to buy the Slovakian for £6m should he make a certain number of appearances in the Premier League.
Discussing the move to United, the 'keeper said: "To be joining Manchester United is a special moment in my career and I can’t wait to get started, and help the group achieve its ambitions. I am joining an excellent group of goalkeepers with lots of experience in the Premier League, and I know that we will push and support each other to keep our standards at the highest levels.
