Marcus Rashford has become the third Manchester United player since the start of last season to win the Premier League Player of the Month for a second time in the same campaign.
The academy graduate, who has been in devastating form since returning from the World Cup in Qatar, has been crowned as the Premier League's Player of the Month for January, following a run of three goals in four games. He scored in the victories over Bournemouth and arch-rivals Manchester City at Old Trafford, as well as opening the scoring in the 3-2 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Rashford has claimed the award for the second time this season after winning it back in September, where he scored two goals and grabbed two assists in just two appearances in a shortened schedule. As well as scoring three times in the league in January, he also scored a further four goals and claimed two assists in cup competitions, meaning he enjoyed a stellar start to 2023.

United, despite their troubles last season, had a player win the Premier League Player of the Month award on no fewer than four occasions, with David de Gea and Cristiano Ronaldo both winning it twice. De Gea scooped it in January and May while Ronaldo won it in both September and April.
Rashford, as a result of his latest accolade, has joined an exclusive list of United players to have won two Premier League Player of the Month awards in the same season. Ruud van Nistelrooy, Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie, Ryan Giggs, Bruno Fernandes, De Gea and Ronaldo have all had the honour of winning it more than once in a single campaign.
Rashford's second Player of the Month award this season means that he has now won it three times in his career, first winning it back in January 2019. As a side note, it means he has now won it as many times as Van Nistelrooy did during his five-year spell at Old Trafford.
The England international has now won the award more times than any other player this season, with Martin Odegaard of Arsenal, Manchester City striker Erling Haaland and Newcastle United ace Miguel Almiron all winning it once.
