Bruno Fernandes has hit back at claims suggesting his post-match comments about Manchester United's improvements this season were aimed at former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portuguese ace scored in the Reds' impressive 2-1 victory over Manchester City on Saturday afternoon, with the midfielder levelling proceedings after Jack Grealish opened the scoring for the away side. Erik ten Hag's men went on to win the derby thanks to Marcus Rashford's late strike.
After the game, Fernandes, during an interview with BT Sport, spoke about how United were now a 'team' after previously being a group of 'individuals'.
