Manchester United's recent FA Youth Cup triumph has been named 'Moment of the Season' at the North West Football Awards.
United's Under-18s defeated Nottingham Forest 3-1 at Old Trafford in the Youth Cup final last season and they extended the club's rich history with young talent. United have won the cup (11) more than any other team in the history of the competition.
Alejandro Garnacho, who has started in United's last two Europa League games, scored twice against Forest in May, while centre-back Rhys Bennett, who captained the side on the night, also scored.

The previous Youth Cup attendance record was 38,137, but a record-breaking 67,492 fans watched the U18s claim the trophy at Old Trafford.
That triumph was recognised at the North West Football Awards on Monday night, with the U18s winning the Youth Cup named as 'Moment of the Season', notably beating Ilkay Gundogan's goal which won the Premier League title for Manchester City.
Since the Youth Cup final in May, Garnacho has made his full debut, Charlie McNeill has made his debut, Isak Hansen-Aaroen featured against Rayo Vallecano in pre-season, while Kobbie Mainoo and Tyler Fredricson have made the bench.
Radek Vitek, Marc Jurado, Rhys Bennett, San Murray and Daniel Gore have also trained with the first-team.
