January isn’t always the most exciting month with the dull weather, dark mornings and the holidays well and truly over. But one Manchester restaurant is helping rid customers of the mid-winter blues by giving away free lunches in town tomorrow.
Revolución de Cuba, on Peter Street, will be dishing out free burritos to certain customers on Wednesday, January 18, making for the ultimate lunch on the house - if you’re lucky.
To be in with the chance of snagging a free meal, you’ll have to find yourself one of the first 10 people in the queue on Wednesday morning.

The nationwide offer will see up to 180 free burritos handed out in total, with a range of fillings such as slow cooked-shredded beef, marinated chicken and veggie chilli to choose from.
If that wasn’t enough, Revolución de Cuba is also offering 50 per cent off food for the entire month, meaning you can get a half price meal until the end of January, including tapas, tacos, sharers, mains and desserts.
There’s also the tempting opportunity to double your bar tab, up to the value of £1,000. Available on a pre book basis for drinks with friends, booth bookings and table reservations, Revolución de Cuba will double your bar tab up to the value of a grand. Though, do remember to drink responsibly.
This month also sees the return of the Revolución de Cuba Afternoon Tea, where customers can choose from the standard Afternoon Tea, or add a cocktail, a sharing teapot, a glass of prosecco or a bottle of prosecco for something extra special - perfect for upcoming calendar events like Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day.
Manchester shoppers hoping to bag a free burrito can join the queue on Peter Street tomorrow, and must be within the first 10 people to order. The venue opens at midday on Wednesday, January 18.
