Bruno Fernandes converted from the spot to level it with two minutes to go.
Then, the unthinkable happened. Diallo latched onto a long ball and lifted it over Ederson in the City goal, before slotting home from a tight angle to take the lead with seconds remaining.

The result has not altered United’s league position – they remain 13th. But what it has done is completely change the mood at Old Trafford and ease pressure on their owners.
Defeats to Arsenal (2-0) and Nottingham Forest (3-2) had quickly dampened the positive early results under Amorim. But a derby day victory away against Manchester City will certainly please fans.
For City, it was another night to forget as their awful run continues. It’s now an eighth defeat in 11 games and the champions find themselves fifth in the Premier League standings.
Leaders Liverpool are now nine points ahead with a game in hand, and any talk of a miraculous City title defence is rapidly evaporating.
