The Champions League is back on our screens this week, so here’s our Manchester City vs Feyenoord preview, prediction, team news and confirmed lineups ahead of tonight’s game.
Manchester City vs Feyenoord Preview
Manchester City turn their attention to the Champions League on Tuesday afternoon, as they welcome Dutch giants Feyenoord to the Etihad.
Pep Guardiola’s side have endured their worst run in recent history after a 4-0 defeat to Tottenham in their last Premier League match made it five defeats in a row (all competitions).
This includes a thumping in their last European match, losing 4-1 to Sporting Lisbon in Ruben Amorim’s last Champions League tie as Sporting’s boss.
Their opponents for Tuesday night were also beaten in GW4 of the UCL, losing 3-1 to RB Salzburg and Feyenoord now sit 21st in the new Champions League format.
However, the Dutch side have won their last two matches in the Eredivisie and have done so in emphatic fashion beating Almere City 4-1 and securing a 3-0 win over Heerenveen most recently.
These two sides last met in the 2017 Champions League group stage, with City winning 1-0 and 4-0 in two dominant performances.
Manchester City vs Feyenoord Team News
Manchester City will obviously be without their star man and Ballon D’or winner, Rodri, as the Spaniard continues his lengthy absence with an ACL injury.
Oscar Bobb, Mateo Kovacic and Ruben Dias will all miss this European clash and Jeremy Doku is also unavailable despite being rumoured with a return.
Kevin De Bruyne is a substitute once again after coming off the bench in City’s last three matches.
Feyenoord will be without star man, Chris-Kevin Nadje, after he was handed a straight red card against RB Salzburg last time out.
The Dutch side also have a major injury issue at the minute and may have three vital players out of action, as Santiago Gimenez, Justin Bijlow and captain Quinten Timber are all out of action.

Manchester City vs Feyenoord Prediction
Despite Manchester City’s recent struggles and five-game losing streak, we expect Guardiola’s side to earn a vital three points on Tuesday evening.
Feyenoord’s injury issues and performance in GW4 of the competition should give the Premier League champions huge confidence and we predict a 3-1 win for the Cityzens.
This is supported by the pricing on UK betting sites, with Manchester City being heavy favourites.
